A protective style has a clock on it. Knotless braids want washing about every two weeks and taking down around week seven — so the reminder should come from the style, not from a calendar you have to set yourself.

The cadence belongs to the style
Every style in the app carries the care it actually needs: how many days between washes, what to do in between, and how long it should stay in. Save a look and the reminder is built from that, instead of asking you to know it.
Snooze is not a failure state
Wash day moves. A reminder can be snoozed or repeated on its own interval without losing the schedule the style is on, and takedown keeps its own separate clock — because leaving a protective style in too long is the part that costs you hair.

What Reminders does not do
Every product page on the internet has this section. Most of them hide it.
- Reminders are stored on your device. A reinstall loses them.
- Notifications need the permission your phone asks for; denied, the app keeps the schedule but cannot buzz you.
