What it needs from you
Permanent. Wash every 1-2 weeks with a residue-free shampoo; retwist every 4-6 weeks (8-12 once mature) - over-retwisting thins the roots.
This is a permanent style — it does not simply come out. Locs come out only by cutting or a very long comb-out, and a relaxer grows out. The app never sets a takedown date for it.
