How it is done

  1. 10:00Have a scarf, a headband and a couple of bobby pins ready.
  2. 20:39Gather the braids up and start wrapping the scarf around them where you want the bun to sit. Check you like the position before you finish wrapping.
  3. 30:39Wrap the scarf upwards, not just around, so the ponytail stands tall, then knot the scarf on the side.
  4. 41:39Take half of the ponytail and twist it so the braids stay together, then wrap it around the scarf and under that section of hair.
  5. 52:11Bobby-pin the end so it stays in place, tucking it downwards so the scarf does not show.
  6. 62:48Wrap most of the remaining section around until the scarf is covered, pin it, then wrap the last part in the opposite direction.
  7. 73:20Secure everything with the headband, and put back any braids that slip out of place.
