The breakdown

  • Boho Passion Twists, Waist-Length
  • Curly Ends
  • Natural Black

How it is done

  1. 10:00Soak the braiding hair in lukewarm water with plain vinegar for about two hours to remove its coating, rinse it, and let it air dry.
  2. 20:56Start with washed, stretched and detangled hair (plaits work well), then take it down and work a light oil throughout.
  3. 31:26Starting at the back, part medium square sections. Apply an extra-hold gel to the roots and brush them flat.
  4. 41:58Secure each section with a small rubber band into a mini ponytail, repeating until the whole head is done.
  5. 53:42Take down one ponytail at a time and smooth gel down the full length of the hair to reduce frizz.
  6. 63:42Unravel the bottom of a passion twist hair piece, fold it in half and place the middle right at the rubber band.
  7. 74:09Braid down about an inch and a half with your hair in the center, then move your hair over to join one side of the extension.
  8. 84:09Twist the two pieces down the full length and twirl the ends around your finger.
  9. 96:11Apply an edge gel along the hairline and brush the edges into place.
