How it is done

1. 10:29Start with the hair in sections and aim the blow dryer at the roots, keeping heat and stretching off the ends.
2. 21:28Apply a curl cream and a heat-protectant leave-in, mostly to the ends, to keep definition.
3. 31:57Hold the ends of each section while blow-drying the roots so the roots stretch and the ends keep their curl.
4. 43:25After every section is dry, blow-dry over the whole head to fluff it and blend away the parts, then fluff with your fingers.
5. 53:54Use a hair pick section by section to create a round shape all the way around.
6. 65:10Put on a bonnet for a while to condense the hair into a fuller, more circular shape, then take it off.
