How it is done

  1. 10:00Plan to go blonde in stages rather than all at once. Dark roots lift gradually, and doing it over several applications keeps your curls healthier.
  2. 20:28Decide where the blonde goes. She lightens only the front of her hair and leaves the back dark.
  3. 30:57Mix the lightening kit's cream developer and lightening powder together, wearing the plastic gloves that come with the kit.
