How it is done

1. 10:00Gel your natural hair back so your edges are protected, brush it all back and set it with a blow dryer on medium warm heat.
2. 20:56Put on a wig cap that matches your skin tone, push it forward and cut a tiny hole behind each ear to pull your ears through.
3. 31:24Rub a cream foundation a shade darker than your skin over the cap so it blends under the lace.
4. 42:22Spray a little adhesive just in front of your hairline, tap it in, then dry it with the blow dryer on cool.
5. 52:51Apply the same foundation to the lace, then spray it with a holding spray so the makeup sets and does not transfer.
6. 63:21Cut the cap only just in front of where the glue sits, leaving the back attached, and trim any excess that lifts.
7. 74:46Criss-cross the wig's back bands and comb the front hair back, then put the wig on and check that no cap shows in front of the lace.
