How it is done

  1. 10:58Leave out the hair on your side-part side and your edges for a natural look.
  2. 21:26Braid the rest from left to right: start one braid on one side, start another from the other side and join them, then keep going.
  3. 33:12The braids do not have to be neat or small; skip the net. Apply a soothing scalp product to the braided base.
  4. 43:40Sew down the loose ends of any scraggly braids so the base lies flat.
  5. 54:09Straighten the hair at the nape with a straightening brush before you start sewing.
  6. 64:38Work with half a bundle at a time. Double the wefts, thread the needle through the first weft and loop it through the thread.
  7. 74:38Lay the first track right underneath the braid so the install stays flat and fits more hair.
  8. 85:33To keep the sides flat, carry on with only the back weft around the side, then join both wefts together again in the middle.
  9. 96:58Near the top, switch to single wefts on the side and double them again in the middle.
  10. 107:26Curve the tracks upward from the side part; lay them straight on the side you want to tuck behind your ear.
