The breakdown

  • Crochet Water Curls
  • Middle Part
  • Chest Length

How it is done

  1. 10:00Cornrow straight back from the center front in medium braids. Place them where you'll want to part the crochet hair later, since the parts fall between the braids.
  2. 20:56Connect the front braids by braiding down along each side from the middle, and pin each one in place.
  3. 31:24Braid the back in a zigzag, joining the side braids into it until only one braid is left. Tuck that last braid in and crochet it flat through the cornrows.
  4. 42:23Loop a piece of braiding hair around your index finger and push the latch hook through a cornrow. Guide the hair in, close the latch, pull it through and finish the knot.
  5. 53:25Work across the rest of your head with fairly large pieces, leaving space between them for a fast, full install.
  6. 63:53For an invisible part, hook up from under the braid where the part will be and pull only half of the piece through. The other half falls over and hides the knot.
  7. 74:23Pin the hair down with bobby pins as you go so it lies flat, then take the pins out once the section is done.
  8. 85:54Repeat the invisible-part method for a middle part. Keep the braids small and crochet close together so the part looks natural.
